INTRODUCTION

Welcome To Hindustan Scouts & Guides Haryana

Scouting is a movement that aims to support young people in their physical, mental, and spiritual development, that they may play constructive roles in society, with a strong focus on the outdoors and survival skills. During the first half of the 20th century, the movement grew to encompass three major age groups for boys (Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Rover Scout) and, in 1910, a new organization, Girl Guides, was created for girls (Brownie Guide, Girl Guide, and Girl Scout, Ranger Guide). It is one of several worldwide youth organizations.

FOUNDATION

This Association is a Society registered under The Society Registration Act XXI of 1860 and is a non-political, non-sectarian, non-communal, non-profitable Educational Organization in behavior.

MISSION

  1. To make available voluntary membership regardless of color, class, or creed
  2. To develop a spiritual awareness among its members
  3. To create for each member awareness of, and involvement in, service to others and the community
  4. To use the opportunities of the family of Scouting in accordance with its purpose, principles, and method, in order to develop in its members’ unprejudiced attitudes and an understanding of, and respect for, others
  5. To promote a commitment to a code of values that results in self-discipline and the development of the members’ full potential that will enable each one to take a meaningful place in society.

The purpose of our Society is to contribute to mental, physical, and spiritual development of youth to make then complete and perfect human being through scouting/guiding. As scouts/guides, the young boys/girls may undertake lots of activities relating to Community Devlopment, Scocial-Service, Adventure Activities, Yoga, All faith Meditation, Environmental Conservation, Vocational skills, National Integration, Sprit of Patriotism, Brotherhood, Loyalty, Dicipline and Leadership qualities etc. These activities enable young people in making them good citizens.

Area of the Association shall be confined to the area of the whole Haryana Territory of India

PREFACE

Hindustan Scouts and Guides  Haryana which has been duly approved by’ the National Training team and National council.

How you carry its out taking rules and regulation into consideration. Please see that each boy or girl who has been invested in the movement should keep the report card according to the age group and should progress accordingly. He or she should not stay at one stage more than one year. He/She should be trained and encouraged for the next stage. The Branch Associations are also requested to arrange for their badges and special proficiency badges, so that interest of boy & girl is continued. They are also requested to contact their ‘State Training Commissioner’ for training camps and Training Instructors’.
